Hello Dear Local Guides,

Hip ! Hip !! Hip !!! Hurray

I am so excited to be able to dedicate this cake to connect this 15th July 2022. Last year we all had a badge from Connect’s fifth birthday and we were happy. This year I felt I should rather give connect something and here you are,a nice little cake. This is dedicated to the following people respectively;

  • The Google moderators and all other Googlers behind the IT scenes of Google and Connect.
  • Connect moderators who keep active and get the ball rolling always on connect.
  • My dear fellow local guides who daily interact here on connect I wish I could mention their names but they are so many,love you all.

@SholaIB that cake looks absolutely delicious! I have to ask… was that badge on top edible? It looks sparkly - like maybe it was made of sugar!

Also, did you review the bakery where you got it? I’d love to see what other creations they have made!

Thank you for your nice comments on this post. It’s actually the first ! It’s a restaurant as well as a pizza place as well as bakery. It’s a place I visited alot while I was in that part. You will see lots of my photos on the page if you view it. It’s a place called DE CHOICE FAST FOOD NTA ROAD .

The badge is not edible sorry about that. It’s plastic. The cake is edible though,I got it just for connect at 6.

Thank you @SholaIB .A few words of celebration dedicated to this beautiful online place,Local Guides Connect.Really nice to chat with you and the rest of users.And I love cocoa because I love black chocolate and I love west Africa because it is the biggest cocoa producer.

I am happy you like the place. I like the place too and have enjoyed many a meal and hangout and snack time there.

There is a supermarket attached as well so I sometimes go shopping on the other side of the place. It’s a nice place yes ! Thanks for having a look at it.

Well connect is very sweet, I can organise another cake just for friendship sake and will be happy to share it with you and @Kwiksatik in particular.
