I just wanted to share some exciting news!
Today, I received an email from Google Maps congratulating me on my 8-year anniversary as a Local Guide. I’m so honored to have been a part of this program for so long, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to help make Google Maps a better resource for everyone.
Over the past 8 years, I’ve submitted lots of contributions to Google Maps, including photos, reviews, and edits. I’ve also participated in a number of Local Guides events and activities. It’s been a lot of fun, and I’ve learned a lot along the way.
I’m particularly proud of the work I’ve done to help improve the accuracy of Google Maps in my local community. I’ve submitted photos of businesses and landmarks, corrected incorrect information, and added missing places. I’ve also written reviews of local businesses, which I hope have helped other people make informed decisions about where to go and what to do.
I’m excited to continue being a Local Guide for many years to come. I’m always looking for new ways to contribute to the program, and I’m always happy to help out other Local Guides.
