Halong bay is world heritage , it includes nearly 2000 islands and islets, forming a spectacular seascape of limestone pillars. Because of their precipitous nature, most of the islands are uninhabited and unaffected by a human presence. In some of islands are very beautiful caves and little beaches.
Best time for visiting is autumn from August to November when the sky is clear, no rain, but if you want to swim or kayaking the summer is quite good.
Halong bay is 160 km from Hanoi the capital of Vietnam, 3 hours drive and the tour costs about 60-80$. You could stay a night in the cruise to get very fantastic experience.
