Halloween Horror Night đŸ‘» #StateChallenge Halloween around the World.

Hello folks!

Today I’ll recommend to all of you a great place for people who enjoy a good night being followed for a horde of monsters in a dark and creepy place. But
Silvi what are you talking about? People is Halloween’s time!! And which is the best way to spend this time? Going to Universal Studios and specifically to Halloween Horror Night (HHN).

The special time starts in some days of September and finish the first days of November. There’s different options about tickets, you can go the whole day, as I did, or only at evening for HHN. There’s special prices more cheapest some days.

I did this two years ago and I had a great time there. My day in Universal started early, I enjoyed the “normal park” as much as I could. Why “normal”? Because the horror begin when the sun is going down, before you can enjoy the park as usual.
The night starts with a ritual, well at least in that occasion. All of us joined in the main door and a guy start to talk about the show and start to calling to all the creepy monster of the show business. Can you image it for one moment? People in one side, monsters in other side. And the guy with the mic saying is time to a countdown, and you think is for to enter to the night park but when is zero time all those scary monsters are running toward you with chainsaws and axes.

I know, is all fake, no one is going to hurt me, monsters doesn’t exist for real, I’m a grown woman but in that moment you forget everything, you’re like a kid yelling and running away. Do you now why you can feel the situation as a real? Because is very well settled up. The organization, the darkness, the monsters in everywhere, all those mazes of different movies and series, and you of course, you’re there because you love Halloween and to be part of it as if you would be in a Halloween movie as a one more character.

I spent almost 16 hours in Universal Park, what a day!!!
A great experience, if you can go to HHN this year (or someday) do it, believe me you are going to have a wonderful day there.

Another great post @SilvyC thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’m amazed by the fact that you’ve stayed 16 hours there. Time passes quickly when you have a good time. Do you think kids and teenagers can participate as well? What about the food? Was it themed as well?

Needless to say that the last photo is one of my faves.

Thanks so much @VasT Is true, when you have a good time, you don’t noticed about time, well maybe my body did LOL I finished that day happy but broken :hugs: You know, I saw a lot of teenagers and only children over the age of 13 are allowed in HHN. About food I only remember a Donuts place, “Voodoo Doughnut” with themed pastry. I believe I was so scared for think in food that night Lol.

@SilvyC , I wish I could forget food as well. Voodoo doughnut sounds tasty :). In a month more or less it’s Halloween, do you have any plans for this year? Do kids go for trick or treat in Argentina?

No plans @VasT is not a common celebration here in Argentina. In some closed neighborhood kids go for tricks, but is weird. I never went to a Halloween party, I need to do this onceâ˜ș

I hope you do @SilvyC and choose a cool costume to wear! In Greece where I’m from, it’s not common either but lately, I’ve noticed more and more Halloween themed parties.

It’s great to be a kid and to let yourself get scared when you’re in control @SilvyC :slightly_smiling_face:

You were here until 2AM @SilvyC , did all the attractions and rides still operate until midnight as well?

Sadly not @Velvel for example the Harry Potter attraction is closed, but this have an explanation: the park is offering every year new attractions only for HHN. It’s called “mazes” inspired in horror movies, classic and new ones, and scary tv shows like this one inspired in American Horror Story: “Roanoke”.

I remember other of that time: :The Shining.

Is a great experience, truly worth it!

I loved the Pebble beach

The Denmark in L. A.

The Hotel you shared about that many movies had been shot and that even though it was expensive to stay there, you stayed just because of the pure magic of being in such an iconic place. :joy: :dancer: I read with Gusto! My head spun so much I was giddy with joy!

@SilvyC I just added this one too!!! I didn’t see it when I did my search! Ggggrrr

Saludos

Wow @SilvyC

16 hours is a long time! That’s great you took your time to fully enjoy the park; there’s a lot to see. I only visited during the day during summer but never during night on Halloween. Sounds scary but fun! :couple_with_heart_woman_man:
