Had Iftar in Islamic Center of Columbia, Missouri with Big Heart People

On my way back to Kansas from Indiana I had to stop for iftar in Missouri. The Islamic Center of Central Missouri is a mosque situated in Columbia, Missouri, which was founded in 1983, making it the first Islamic center in the state of Missouri. As the sole mosque in Columbia, it serves as both a place of worship and a community center for the central Missouri area. The Islamic Center of Central Missouri promotes a culture of tolerance and understanding by welcoming visitors at all times, especially during prayer times when they can meet local Muslims and witness Islamic worship. Visitors are advised to dress modestly, such as wearing long pants and long-sleeved shirts, and to be mindful of Islamic customs. Group visits can be arranged by emailing theicofcm@theiccm.org, or contacting the Muslim Speakers Bureau of Columbia. First-time visitors are encouraged to click here to learn about what to expect during their initial visit to the mosque.
