I traveled on Vande Bharat Express on its first day of regular ride. This is the first Vande Bharat Express for Northeast India. This semi high speed train runs between Guwahati and New Jalpaiguri. The departure time from New Jalpaiguri is 6:10 AM and from Guwahati is 4:30 PM.
I boarded this train from Guwahati to New Bongaigaon. The journey was amazing. The snacks provided me during this journey is not as good as I expected.
The highest speed of this train in this route is 110 KM as displayed in the train’s infotainment system. There is two types of coaches in this train. One is Executive Class and another one is Economical Chair Car. The ticket price is very high compare to Rajdhani Express and Shatabdi Express. Overall, I had a good experience in this train.
