The Gurudwara is built in memory of Guru Gobind Singh Ji who fought and won a battle for here hill kings against the Mughal army.
We were fortunate to visit the historical Gurudwara at Naduan. It is a memorial shrine situated on the west of the town of Nadaun on the bank of the Beas River. It is located at the site of a battle fought in1691, the battle in which Guru Gobind Singh and his Sikh forces assisted Raja Bhim Chand of Kahlur and some other hill Kings against the Mughal general Alif Khan. Guru Gobind Singh camped at the site, for several days.
Nadaun town is located along the Una-Amb-Kangra road. One can visit this gurudwara on way to Jwalaji or Kangra. Langar (Free Kitchen)is served anytime you reach there. The river Beas can be viewed from the backside of gurudwara.
The location is beautiful and very silent. The Granthi and local people were very hospitable and a variety of food was offered as langar.
