Using google maps for almost 5 years did I guide the community or other local guides? How come?
Before, I only using google maps as my guide when I was traveling outside the city or my hometown (which is Cavite City, Philippines). I used it as my navigator device. Along with it, lots of notification appeared in it. They asked some questions and ratings from the places that I visited.f
After that, I just answered it unintentionally. After answering those questions, I received emails from the google maps about how many views that I received from the community and other local guides who check the same places, that’s why I understand the purpose and the mission of google maps.
“To guide and to get connected with the community and to other local guides is one of the main reasons.”
I became active in sharing photos, reviews, and ratings in different places that I visited nearby my hometown. Even the simple fast food restaurant and other places that I know the netizens in the community love to visit it, and I made a review on it.
“Keep sharing, Keep Connected.” I think it’s very significant in using the google maps also in keeping attached here in Local Guides Connect.
We must keep sharing and connected and let’s guide everyone.
