I like systematizing and optimizing things, therefore when I was thinking about Local Guides’ program, I managed to indicate 3 main reasons why this program is so important for me.
First of all, I live in country which is so small that promotes itself as an “unfounded treasure”, so you understand that not all places are indicated, described correctly and marked with all useful information. It makes a very good motivation to contribute in order to create as beautiful online view of Lithuania as it’s in reality (and help tourists to finally find G-spot… 
)
Secondly, I love taking photos, so this is also a way for me to feel like an artist when people see your photos and even make decisions based on them – what to visit, where to go, what food to order, etc.
Third reason is – I travel a lot with work as well as for vacation, so it makes me even closer to this online society because not only I get suggestions what to visit nearby, but also I can contribute with my own updates and reviews and be useful for future travelers.
