My starting to be a Google local guider was about 3 years ago , the situation in Iraq was difficult for Google local guiders and any other person because of the war against ISIS, and bad infrastructures made contribution on maps more difficult because you need to tell people about the correct road for their destination , roads changes every day and you have to make reviews continuously on places being closed and places opened , and some places moved 3 time in one year.
when I saw Google announcement about local guiders, I seized the opportunity at once to start make changes about places and make reviews to give people prior notice and it was very helpful for people to know that this place is closed and that place is moved and also reviews about places.
Now the sun shines on the new Iraq , Iraq of peace no more wars , our future needs too much contributions on Google maps to show the world new Iraqi achievements in the next few years.
