Guess what? I'm a travel-lover!

Hi. My name is Dvir. I live in Israel and I like to travel across tne country and outside it. That’s the main reason why I like this program of Google Local Guides.

Last year my biggest trip was to amazing inspiring Morocco. Twelve days between the Sahara desert, Atlas mountains and the Atlantic ocean. It was a great trip, very fun and experience for life.

My mom & I in Morocco, last year.

But as I said, I often travel in my lovely Israel. Every year I try to meet new places and share them in the Local Guides. This year, for example, Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv reopened after being under construction in the last three years. So I visited this stadium and shared it with some photos.

And that brings me to another point in what does Google Local Guides mean to me. I love to take photos wherever I go, and this program makes it very useful to other people so they can learn about those places from my photos and captions.

In addition, to be a Local Guide makes me feel like a real influencer since I help people to know about places or when I write a criticism about public places. For example, last year when I visited Morocco I wrote some words about my experience in the hotels. Few days after then when I was already back in Israel, I got an answer from one of the hotels’ owner, who thanks me about the positive criticism. For some people it may seems to be unimportant but I find it very meaningful to me - as a non-famous person who live his regular life - it makes me feel a little bit famous, at least for few moments.

  1. And that what does the Google Local Guides program mean to me.
