Grunge places in Saint-Petersburg, Russia

Saint-Petersburg is very special city in Russia. Some people loves it at first sight, some - will never love it. This city so historical and so authentic, each street in downtown carrying reminders of events, happened in Russia before 1917 year. And in 21 century some places was reborned with new ideas, but it’s still old buildings with great history.

I like to discover new places in Saint P. Let’s take a look for some of them!

  1. Kazanskaya, 7

Kazanskaya 7 was just usual living palace some very rich person in the past. It’s a bussiness center now. But main thing in this place - is a basement.

In a basement located show room’s with clothes, shoes, guitars, also great cafee and offline quest game. It’s so cool! You can walk in the really big basement under great palace, touching the walls, touching the history! I’m so love this place, so much!

  1. “Kamchatka”

“Kamchatka” was boiler room until 2000-s, when it was a bar. What special in Kamchatka? As i tell before, it was boiler room, where russian rock-star Victor Tsoy worked before became the most popular person in USSR. It’s not so cheap bar with common tables, very bad drinks and not delicious food, but it still very popular, because Victor Tsoy is a biggest legend in russian music and people from ex-USSR comes to “Kamchatka” every day to try to stay close with his favorite hero.

  1. Annenkirche

Annenkirche it’s a real Catholic Church, that burned down in 2002. Since 2002 church was not fully restored, and walls, stairways and gallery still looks like fire just touching it. it’s so amazing! When i come to Annenkirche every time, i feel some indescribable feelings, i just have no words to describe it. Just come and feel it with me
