Green Paradise - our Earth

I am a lover of trees and nature and I have written many posts regarding trees. This post is in connection with taking up the challenge of @TravellerG post INTERNATIONAL PLANT APPRECIATION DAY.

My perspective about plants and trees is that they are the reason of our survival. I have a great attachment towards nature. I am tree lover and many times interacted with them.
I love traveling very much and I enjoy the beaury of nature during my travels.

Above is the picture taken during a road trip amidst greenery. You can see one side plantain trees and fields on the other side. Loved the sight of the green fertile lands. After rains the place becomes even more greener and pleasant. Below is one such picture taken during a train travel.

I admire the nature’s care and I am very thankful for all it offers to us. We get food, we get oxygen, we get shelter, we get medicines, etc. On the whole we cannot survive without plants and trees. It is our priority to save them for us to servive. In this context I read more about plants, how to grow and maintain them. I love places where plans are grown. Whenever I visit libraries I choose to read books about plants. Below are the examples of the books about plants.

Plants helps to reduce pollution. Plants and trees around our house not only gives us good breeze and shade, but also controls the temperature. Studies reveal that plants keep the houses cool in summer and warm in winter.

It is our duty to grow plants and sustain them. We have nature’s gift of having our land fertile. I have seen places which are deserts and plants and trees cannot grow. I appreciate the human intervention to grow trees and beautiful flower gardens even in such deserty places. Below is the picture of Miracle Garden in Dubai.

Nature at its best where gardens are created. Below is the picture of the adjacent garden of Rosengard Castle in Denmark.

Beautifully grown gardens are always a feast for our eyes and gives solace to our mind.
Below is the picture of Norvikken Gardens and Kungs Garden in Sweden. I felt I am in
Paradise.

Places filled with trees and plants are good for walks and healthy exercises. We can refresh and rejuvenate ourselves by going for a stroll in the green.

Below is my drawing of tree with a message to Local Guides 10 years celebration post by @NareshDarji

I like very much to create drawings on nature. Below is my drawing of a flower in a pond.

I am an artist and the first thing comes to my mind to draw is about plants. I have drawn many of them and also created small garden out of origami.

Wherever I visit I do a study about plants and trees. I have written a reply about Mangrove Forests to @TusharSuradkar post.

We in our tradition, practice plant worship and treat them as Gods. We pray to neem tree, peepal tree, tulsi plant and also consume extracts of many medicinal plants like bermuda grass, bael trees leaves, betel leaf, basil leaf etc. According to our culture Nature is God.

Of late tress are cut on a vast scale. For one tree cut atleast 10 saplings should be planted. Writing this post with a request to everyone to grow more plants.

Thank you for sharing these beautiful thoughts and captures

I completely resonate with your love for nature. I have around 38 plants at home and gets adding more and more, just seeing them in the morning brings such peace and calm to the day. :seedling:

Whenever I feel a little low or need a mood boost, nothing works better than a walk in a nature park or a hike on a tree-covered hill. Nature really is the best kind of therapy, isn’t it?

Well said..!
