What is the Explore the Maps Challenge?
Every fortnight, we will share with you the icons and hints of famous places of any one country here. When you find that place, you have to answer it in the quiz. You have to choose the correct answer from the four options given below each question.
Country of this week’s challenge: Greece
Quick facts
Greece is a country in southeastern Europe with thousands of islands throughout the Aegean and Ionian seas. Influential in ancient times, it’s often called the cradle of Western civilization. Athens, its capital, retains landmarks including the 5th-century B.C. Acropolis citadel with the Parthenon temple. Greece is also known for its beaches, from the black sands of Santorini to the party resorts of Mykonos. (Source: Google maps)
Can you guess these places by their most famous Landmarks icon?

The fascinating part is that if you’ve ever visited that place, don’t forget to share a photo with us so that our Local Guides and friends may see it through your eyes.
