Great Wisteria Festival of Ashikaga flower Park- Part 1

Japanese wisteria (藤, fuji), Wisteriopsis japonica, Tale of Fuji no Hana, Up to 9 meters (30 feet) tall, The flowers bloom in clusters in early to mid-spring Mid April-May) in this raceme, which are white, pink, purple, or blue. The branches of the wisteria tree are tied to the trellis, and the creeping flowers hang beautifully overhead.








Wisteria flowers bloom from mid-April to mid-May at Ashikaga Flower Park. The park is located in Hasamacho, Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture, about 85 km from central Tokyo. During Japan’s Golden Week holiday, we went to the park to enjoy the beauty of wisteria. What a sweet scent was intoxicating the surroundings of the flowers. There was a huge flower festival here, including tulips, roses, and many more.

Two of the wisteria trees are over 150 years old and are a national monument. The park was opened in 1965 and covers an area of ​​94,000 square kilometers or 23 acres. More tham 350 wisteria trees were in full bloom. This is how it called great wisteria festival.




The park is adorned with two 80-meter-long tunnels, one with white wisteria and the other with wisteria-like yellow kibana.

Opening/closing hours
For most of the year, 9:00 - 1800
On Saturdays, Sundays and on national holidays for “the Garden of Illuminated Flowers”, the park is open untel 9 pm.

During the winter, from late November until February, hours are reduced, from 10 am to 5 pm.

Extended hours, from 7:00 - 21:00 , during Wisteria Festival (mid-April to mid-May).

The park is open year-round, closed only on December 31 and the third Wednesday and Thursday of February.

Admission :
Depending on the time of year and the type of ticket purchased, adult admission fees range from 300 to 2200 yen . Prices are highest during the peak flower season, during the months of April and May. Lower prices can be enjoyed from July until February. For children, fees range from 100 to 900 yen.
If you Show the the ticket of previous visit there will be 200 yen discount on current tickets.
Under age above 4 are absolutely free.

At first I think they are fake flowers for decoration. Later, after reading the article, I realize that these are real flowers :open_mouth:. They are incredibly beautiful.:sparkles:

At First i would like to appreciate your thought.

Artificial flowers that look alike wisteria are used to decorate wedding/reception stages in our Bangladesh. So at first glance, the flowers will seem artificial.

Just as the flowers are beautiful on the tree, plucking flowers is completely prohibited and here, everyone follows this rule properly, even children follow this rule. I am no exception. I have smelled and touched the flowers. I found them strangely beautiful. And the flowers were alive.

১. ফুলগুলো কি ন্যাচারাল নাকি কৃত্রিম?

১. এগুলো প্রাকৃতিক ফুল। এক একটা গাছের বয়স ১৫০ এর বেশি। ফুল ছেড়া নিষিদ্ধ, তাই গাছের ফুল গাছেই সুন্দর।
২. আর আমিও অকৃত্রিম। AI দিয়ে বানানো এটা কোন ছবি না। আমার লম্বা চুল ও এই কাতারে পড়ে। এটাই বাস্তব।
