I grew up in Paris. I am used to city living. Living in the suburbs of Chicago has been an adjustment for me.
Yet I realized, thanks to Google reviews and great people that there are a lot of good restaurants, movie theaters, and so
on in the burbs rather than in the City.
I sometimes miss having brunch in a major City, only to realize that there are great brunch places in the burbs too.
Drury Lane and the Marriott in Oak Brook are perfect examples.
We are lucky enough to enjoy fantastic movie theaters like AMC in Oak Brook.
Not to mention all the libraries and museums.
