The Baduy Dalam tribe is a group that usually lives in the forest. This tribal characteristic can be seen from the white clothes.
They do not know technology, money or school. Thus, the people of the Inner Baduy can only communicate with the native language, namely Sundanese Banten dialect.
Not only technology, they are also resistant to tools from outside and even toiletries.
Baduy Dalam still adhere to the customs of their ancestors.
Some of the regulations adopted by the Baduy Dalam tribe include:
- It is not permitted to use vehicles for transportation
- Do not wear footwear
- The door of the house must face north / south (except the Puun’s house)

- Using black / white cloth as clothes that are woven and sewn by themselves and are not allowed to use modern clothing.
