Great Local Guides photos that capture daily commutes

Local Guides commute to work and other destinations in a variety of ways. Whether you travel by public transportation, car, taxi, scooter, rickshaw, bicycle, or walking, it’s easy to feel bored or stressed out by the routine. One way to add some fun and creativity to your daily commute is to photograph what makes the trip unique! If you have time, try looking at your surroundings and capturing what stands out, such as the bright colors of a rickshaw or the dynamic architecture of a subway station. When you share these photos of your commute on Google Maps, you are not only guiding others but also inspiring them to view their everyday surroundings in a new way.

Here are some extraordinary photos taken by Local Guides on their daily commutes. These images stand out because of their vivid colors, strategic camera angles, and the way they capture a fleeting moment and tell a story.

A great topic and wonderful photos @Christina-NYC . I have one question for you. Where you say

“try looking at your surroundings and capturing what stands out, such as the bright colors of a rickshaw or the dynamic architecture of a subway station. When you share these photos of your commute on Google Maps, you are not only guiding others but also inspiring them to view their everyday surroundings in a new way”,

leads me to ask, under which Category on Maps would one post photos of a commute ?

Thank you for sharing those very nice pictures @Christina-NYC  .

Very interesting topic @Christina-NYC - now that I think about it, I usually always think of traffic getting in the way of my subjects/photos, but this has caused me to think about it differently next time I am taking photos around town. Beautiful examples shared here.

Hello @Christina-NYC
I was invited to the Street View Summit in London, so I am temporarily in London for social studies. This is not my commute, but I’m surprised by the high social functionality of the London Bus. As expected, it is the birthplace of modern transportation.

Thanks @Christina-NYC for this post. Here is my photo regarding our daily commutes.

Here in Kolkata AC bus (red colored) is my daily ride partner, red colored AC bus is operated by Government and is part of official public transport. Yellow taxis and Auto rickshaws (three Wheeler) are also famous in Kolkata street as you can see those vehicles in above picture.
