The type of grape is Viognier, it is used to make a very local white wine. You have to take care not to put leaves in the bucket with grape. This vineyard is organic.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing, and as someone who loves wine, I enjoyed this post. As for the leaves, I’m sure it’s very hard not to have at least one show up within the grapes. That’s some hard work. Congrats on the harvesting . Cheers!
I like so much your post post @Mox26200 .Thank you for sharing with us this amazing harvest with these beautiful photos. I hope you will get a very good wine
Woww @Mox26200 - it must be very satisfying to get to the day of the harvest and start cutting the grapes off the vines. How many grapes does it take to produce a case of wine? And how long do you have to wait until the wine is ready to drink?
Thanks @Mox26200 for taking us through a comprehensive narrative of wine making process. This is first time I have detailed knowledge of wine making. Now I knew it takes atleast 6 months to make one. I am curious about the appearance. How come the colour turn from green grape to a reddish wine ?
@TorM most of time they use machines to harvest grape, but for this compact grape results are far better if you harvest by hands. So if you be to join a harvest team be sure they do it by hands. Next harvest will take place 1 year from now.
