GRAND CANYON-SAFETY TIPS! PICTURES AT THE EDGE.

I had the dream to came here, is simply stunning there is no words to describe how imponent and magnificent is, the park is HUGE, bring with you Backpack and Lunch, to save time (i dont recommend looking for a lunch in the park because is wasting of time), the view point of RED line is the farest from the Visitor Center, and the Orange is the Closest Visit FIRST the ORANGE LINE, (Mather Point, Yaki Point, Yavalapai Point), and after that take the Shuttle BLUE LINE TO CONNECT WITH RED LINE, (there is a Lot of View Points). Going to that points will take you at least 2 hours, (going and return) remember this. because the park close at the 6 Pm (18:00 Hours).

SAFETY TIPS: IF YOU ARE NOT SURE OF HAVING THE KNOWLEDGE OF DOING HIKE, OR CLIMBING DONT TAKE THE RISK OF STANDING AT THE EDGE OF THE CLIFFS, BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR CHILDS, THE PARK HAVE A LOT OF SAFE VIEWS, BUT THE TRUE IS THE VIEW IS SO OVERWHELMING, AND AT THE SAME TIME, INVITE US TO BE ADVETOROUS, ENJOY AND BE SAFE, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST STUNNING PLACES IN EARTH. 1.- BRING WITH YOU A COMPASS. 2.-HAT. 3.- SNACKS AND WATER, (THERE IS WATER TO DRINK IN SOME POINTS). 4.- THERE IS NOT CELLPHONE SERVICE ONLY IN A SMALL AREA (REMEMBER THIS).

5.-(TRUST in your body and BE CAREFUL with the cliffs).

Hi @El_Lemus ,

Thank you for sharing your tips and advice regarding Grand Canyon! These are extremely important to know and your information is very useful to all. One should always be safe when climbing rocks and mountains as they can be dangerous. I’ve never been there, but it’s one of my dreams. Was it your first visit?

Really great photos @El_Lemus !

And great safety tips, even if the height of the Canyon is already a nice deterrent especially for those who suffer from vertigo!

Thanks for sharing with us,

David
