One incredible epic location that should be on your bucket list is the Grand Canyon. One of the most outstanding moments is at sunrise. We visited over the Christmas holiday season which allowed us a chance to see it without the crowds of summer. I think the off-season is an excellent time to go. The weather wasn’t too cold.
Make sure you get to/near Mather Point while it’s still dark so you can get a good spot, get your camera ready, and flourish in the wonder of it all. (In one of the photos you’ll see 3 brave thrill-seekers who ventured out on an isolated and narrow crest - truly not advised)
