well, haven’t checked in on maps for a while and when I do my reviews have been reduced to level one when I was a level 7. has anyone had the same experience and what did you do to recover your status ? thank you for any advice or experiences.

There is a few reason why your level may be reduced, This could be part of places you have reviewed no longer being open, or information provided was updated differently. There is so much that could affect this. Upon reviewing your Account It seems you are a Level 6 Guide Good Job!

Hi, @bobmcalister . You said that you haven’t check Google Maps for a while and then noticed that your points have reduced. It is a good idea to check your privacy settings. If you have enabled it to delete your answers after some time, you will miss the points for those answers. It is also essential to check if your content adheres to Google Maps User Contributed Content Policy. Feel free to check this article: What photos should I share on Google Maps?. Selfie groups, duplicated pictures, and poor quality photos (burry ones, for example) can be removed or marked as private, and you will lose these points.
In any case, I am afraid to say that it is not possible to recover the you missed.
