Whenever I get a chance, I go on a weekend trip on my motorcycle. This weekend I took a 320 km motorcycle trip to the cultural pond (lake) of Govardhan mountain.(Uttar Pradesh)

Govardhan Parvat:

Discription
This is a small hill range located in DaanGhati of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. And it is considered to be of great importance in Hinduism. It is also considered to be the place of many Leelas related to Lord Krishna.
Parikrama, Parikrama is an important religious activity performed around Mount Govardhan in which thousands of Hindu devotees participate. And this is the starting point of the big parikrama.

Visiting the Kunds was an important part of my religious journey. Although I could not visit all the Kunds, the places I visited have their own historical and spiritual importance, which reflects the culture and devotion of the Braj region.

Kusum Sarovar:

Discription-
This is a lake of historical and religious importance.
It is surrounded by beautiful monuments and chhatris, which make it a beautiful attractive spot.
It is believed and said that Radha and Krishna used to meet here.

Radha Kund:

Discription -
This is considered to be one of the most sacred kunds in the Govardhan area. I spent some time here and also offered flowers in the kund as per the kindness of the local people.
This kund is named after Radha Rani and is believed to be associated with her divine love affairs.

Shyam Kund

Discription -
Situated very close to Radha Kund, this Kund is associated with Lord Krishna. It is said that Lord Krishna took bath here after killing a demon named Arishtasur.

This is also a place with a calm and spiritual atmosphere. Many important temples are situated on its banks.
