Got my photo featured on LG official Instagram!

Hello everyone!

First of all, I want to dedicate this post to all the Googlers and my fellow Local Guides who always give the best for this platform.

So, a few days ago, my photo from The Exotic Pink Beach of Komodo Island featured on Google Local Guides official Instagram account. This post also featured in the Friday Favorites on July 10.

I’m so honored and thankful for the appreciation. I’ve been enjoying writing lately, both in Connect and Google Maps, and this kind of compliment really motivates me to give more positive contribution to the community.

A great big thank you to the Local Guides social team for featuring my photo.

Keep sharing and inspiring!

Thanks @AdamGT I just noticed your comment here. I’m done with the leaderboard submission and looking forward for the next update.

How was your trip to the Komodo National Park? Did you see the komodo dragon?

Hi @Lusianaa

Yes you have submitted your photo details for both the Leaderboards of Photo Views and Leaderboards of Most Viewed Photos. My trip to the Komodo National Park was amazing to say the least. while I have 5-star rated the park I just noticed that I hadn’t yet added my review or photos…your prompt here has reminded me to do this so thank you Lusiana for the prompt. Seeing the giant Komodos was out of this world. I must also write a Connect post about this…oh just so many fantastic journeys and photos to write about and share with fellow Local Guides lol.

Exactly the same thing happened to me @AdamGT  I visited this place in 2018 before joining Local Guides and just recently added my review for Pink Beach. I guess it’s never too late to add review and help others as long as the place still exist, right?

When did you visit the Komodo National Park? Have you visited other islands in Indonesia? I look forward to read your Connect post about this. Feel free to tag me whenever the post is ready.

Really, 2018? Well I was there in June 2018 @Lusianaa ! Great photo f you and your friends and this dragon. When I was there I found that these creatures were so well fed that they weren’t interested in any more food, hence us humans lol. It’s a fascinating experience to see these prehistoric creatures, such a unique place.

Oh wow! What a coincidence @AdamGT I was there in May 2018! Tbh, there was a true fear hiding behind that smile. One of my friends was in her period at that time, but luckily the dragon couldn’t smell it. Such a thrilling experience!!
