Gorai beach: Cleanest beach in Mumbai

This is the less visited and less crowded beach in Mumbai that can be reached easily with a ferry ride from Malad or Borivali or bus from bhayander west

This is one of the peaceful and Clean Beaches in Mumbai and considered to be the college-goers Mecca. This is a black sand beach that you can reach by road.

This beach is close to Essel World Amusement Park and Waterpark and remains the top destination to spend weekends in the luxury cottages which is lined in the beachfront. If you want to experience the mesmerizing views of sunset and sunrise, then this is the park that worth your visit. You can drive to the beach or take a ferry to reach this place. This beach is less crowded even during weekends and it is considered to be the best destination for a weekend picnic.

  • Activities: Frolic in the Waves, Sit back and relax, taking a moonlit stroll, swimming

local people along with the government has started working on the clean the beach since 2016 now after some year we have done it. new rules are made for the same.

I stay 20 mins away from it at bhayander. btw if you visit Mumbai don’t forget to visit it

Thank you for showing this awesome beach to us! It’s great that the government is so active in cleaning the environment. I wish it was like that in every country.

Actually I have never seen black sand beaches before, but here on Connect we learn new things every day :slight_smile: First I saw Limbe Beach Cameroon and then then you introduced Gorai beach. Thank you for the useful information! I really want to visit it.
