Hello, is anyone else posting 360 degree photos to Street View after downloading images from the GoPro into their phone? How do I get rid of these heinous looking filenames in my photos?

I found many discussion threads on the net regarding workflow for uploading photos captured through GoPro. I suggest you do a search for that yourself and find out.
Further, the long filename doesn’t matter. You can select any folder for backing up to Google photos and that will eliminate the file name problem.

In relation to your inquiry, I would highly recommend to check as @C_T kindly suggested.
On the other hand, possibly similar subject could be checked in @PaulPavlinovich post Tip: Maps Automated photo caption from Exif Metadata, for further reference.
For the moment, the current post would be relocated to How-tos, should it be more suitable to the inquiry oriented subject.
