Hello,
I recently got a GoPro Fusion and have had a blast shooting with it so far. However, I do find that the image quality is quite poor. Anyone else experiencing this?
Please see an example here.
Yours sincerely,
Vegar Henriksen

Looks good to me @VegarHenriksen
Hello @AnthonyAloyeO ,
Thanks for the reply.
Are you sure? It looks blurry, there’s a lot of noise, objects seem out of focus and the whole image seems low resolution.
I have checked on multiple desktops and phones and they all yield the same results. Photos coming from my smartphones are much higher quality.
Yours sincerely,

I’m definitely not an expert @VegarHenriksen
However, for this example, it looks really good to me. I look forward to seeing more of your pictures because I really like this one.
@VegarHenriksen I too picked up a fusion at the new fire sale prices. Your image looks a tad fuzzy to me. I have been shooting in gopro’s version of raw with the Fusion. The editing process is really obtuse with Fusion studio, but when all is said and done you can export as a tiff file which might help with the quality. Although now looking back on my link my sharpness looks pretty lame after publishing - appears much better on my machine. Clouds are a real dumpster fire.
On a different note I’ve had zero luck with the much ballyhooed “trailblazer” from panoskin. Maybe you have to be a paid member?
Hey, @dbateser ,
Thanks for your input! I did the latest firmware update for the Fusion and it looks like it improved the quality and stitching a bit. I also changed my workflow in Adobe Photoshop and that helped too.
I’ve uploaded 1x 30minute 5.2K 24fps video to Trailblazer and it is still processing a week later. The images are live on Google Maps/Google Street View, but the dots are not connected for the full street view experience. I am rendering another 1-hour video as we speak so we’ll see what the outcome of that is. What are you struggling with? I’m not a paid user.
Yours sincerely,
