. @Bobiisha I think the sending of gifts varies according to the countries. Although I contributed in many areas, I did not receive any awards. Yes, I enjoy something that is done voluntarily, but sometimes it feels like I have been treated unfairly.
I apologize if you have not received a perk. You can have mine, Ill be more than happy to pay it forward to you being you are a level 9. Being a level 9 alone is a reward in itself as it’s not easy to achieve such a ranking so where you feel unappreciated , please note you are appreciated and many , such as myself, admire and wish to be on your level. Thank you for this wonderful comment. You are very kind. But the awards that I am criticizing here do not have a specific criteria. It hurts not to get an award by working hard. This special edition reward was sent to a limited number of Local Guides who have recently contributed on Google Maps. For more opportunities to receive rewards like this, be sure to have “Rewards” checked in your Local Guides email preferences.
Google was using this as a promotion to encourage newer Local Guide’s to continue to engage with maps. Being you are at level 10 is much more benefical than a simple pin. I’m not sure what perks are being offered to local guides now but it seems once your pass level 7 , perks slow down. You reached level 10 quite fast more so than what others are able to acheive. Congrats on that. You can post your question on this platform and a google moderator may be able to answer it better than I. Thanks @FufoChlupaty
