Google taught me to Read and Learn before visiting

I never knew i was already a local guide until an email from Google Local Guides buzzed me that “Congratulations for Level 5”. From there i started to take interest in how this thing works. I was delighted to learn that unknowingly i was actually helping people by reviewing places further there are many more ways to help by posting photos, adding new places to Map and writing local stories. I took my passion to next level and i started seeking the missing places on Map in my area. I added three new businesses on Map, uploaded first photos of many places etc. I am now too keen to learn if there are any new business in my town. Now i am always taking pictures of different places to ensure clear and informative images delivered to people to take better informed decisions either it is related to shopping, eating, playing etc. Above all it is very important for me to mention in my every review if the place offers disable access. My aim is to improve review qualities with precise and correct information by staying unbiased and letting people take right decision when choosing a place. Unlike before now i read the reviews of a place before visiting it and i suggest the same to my interpersonal network. I also encourage people to join the team of google local guides to help each other and help making Map Eco-friendly to take Eco-friendly decisions. Google Map persuasion is helping people change their lifestyle towards sustainability when comes to travelling i would highly recommend if our local guides start to mention about the businesses that how sustainable they are in their reviews to increase people’s environmental awareness. We can contribute if we encourage businesses to be more Eco-friendly by influencing them using our reviewing power. I would start to include sustainability information also in my reviews and will encourage the same to my fellow guides. Thanks
