I live in Leverkusen, where the winner of the Bundesliga (first German soccer/football leage) of the last and most probably of this season resides. Leverkusen is between Düsseldorf and Cologne, two of the most beautiful cities in Germany.
And the greatest Attraction in Cologne is the Dome of Cologne, one of the nicest cathedrals in the world.
There is a nice ceiling-painting of St. Nicolaus there but the relics in the golden shrine are most interesting since they belong to the three kings who visited the Jesus-child when it was born to bring him presents.
Hmmh, it´s time to prepare for Christmas isn´t it?

I have never visited Leverkusen, but have spent quite a bit of time on Leverkusen-territory… in traffic jams 
(background: I used to travel frequently from the Ruhr area to the Hunsrück area a couple of years ago).
But it looks like a really nice city, so I might make it a destination some day. And by the way: I don’t think everyone will agree with your prediction of the way the Bundesliga might end this season

Lange Rezension und sehr viele Bilder von Köln und dem Dom.
Ich kenne sowohl den Dom durch Besichtigung und Leverkusen ein bisschen als Stadt aber vor allem auch im Stau stehen auf der Autobahn Richtung Süden.
Übrigens ein Bild von diesem besonderen Fenster hätte hier auf Connect gut ausgesehen als Blickpunkt.

Nein @SASCHA1 ich bin auch in Duisburg geboren und Deutsche.
Ich habe nur weil Anna so oft vorkommt meine beiden Vornamen zusammen gesetzt.

Was für ein Zufall, dass wir beide Duisburger sind.
Ich bin in Marxloh geboren und dort auf das Elli-Heuss-Knapp-Gymnasium gegangen. Die Frau von Theodor Heuss hat ein Mädchengymnasium gegründet, das schon zu meiner Zeit aber auch im Rahmen der männlichen Emanzipation für beide Geschlechter zugängig war. Habe auch ein wenig türkisch gelernt.
