I know you see this title and think what it is about. It’s about opportunities that open with local guide programs! Let me introduce myself. My name is Yevheniia. :ukraine: I am Ukrainian.

I work as an HR manager in IT. All my life I’ve loved to help people as much as I can.

This program helps me with my mission and opens the following opportunities for me:

  • An opportunity to explore the places that you have never been to before. It’s like an online guide for discovering new places. For example, you can see the Statue of Liberty National Monument on your sofa. What could be better?
  • Help. Do you know what is the first thing I do when I am in a new place for the first time? Yes, I google this place and read where I can eat some delicious food or where I can find a market. It’s very helpful and, honestly, I don’t know how we lived without Google Maps and the local guides program.
  • Giving feedback. It’s all about the experience. I mean my experience or somebody else’s. It’s an important part of our life, to give or to get feedback.
  • Share my favorite place. The whole world can discover my favorite place: to see the photos and maybe build plans to attend this place too. Such a great opportunity to know more about wonderful places in the world!

:heart: Khotyn Fortress
Today I am inviting you to look at the Khotyn Fortress- an incredible place, one of the seven wonders of Ukraine. The fortification complex located on the right bank of the Dniester River in Khotyn, which was built in 1325. It’s an exciting and magnificent place!

Many historical adventure movies were filmed here: Zakhar Berkut, The Arrows of Robin Hood, D’Artagnan and Three Musketeers, and Taras Bulba.

:european_castle: Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle
The medieval castle of the city of Kamenetz-Podolskyi is one of the historical monuments of Ukraine. Historical accounts date Kamianets-Podilskyi Castle to the early 14th century. And what a beautiful view this castle has in the evening! You should see this place yourself!

Welcome to LG Connect @Jynka . Thanks also for your introduction and your excellent story. The photos look great. Ukraine is on my list of places to visit and I was planning on this year but that may have to change due to current circumstances.
