If I take it… Would I still be able to add additional storage by paying for regular 100GB/200GB/1TB plans? Or would I have to leave this perk to subscribe to those plans? I ask because 100GB is not enough for me.
@Sushubh I asked the Google One/Drive support chat. This is their response. I don’t know if being subscribed to a perk makes it any different, I don’t suspect so.
But in my opinion (probably needs verification), since you were needing more storage, if you were on a smaller plan, there’s no reason why Google won’t let you upgrade to a larger plan and charge you money for it.
@GeorgesHR Is this something you can help us find out?
Hello @StephenAbraham ,
My knowledge only expands as far as redeeming the perk as a Local Guide and I am afraid I can only answer questions related to Local Guides.
@Sushubh I can answer from a personal point of view, though - I believe that if you redeem the perk and you want to top up with additional storage it should be added on top. I might be wrong though. Your best option is to contact Google Support as @StephenAbraham did.
