To become a Google moderator on Connect, you need to be a Google employee.
You can find job opportunities at careers.google.com.

Connect moderators are Local Guides like you and me.

You may get an opportunity to become a Connect moderator based upon your consistent contributions to the community.

The Google moderators on Connect are those ones who are Googler and work in the Google Local Guides team. You can find jobs HERE as per your skills and qualifications.

Check the list of them here.

And on the other hand, we have Connect moderators, those ones who have enough knowledge about map and LG program and continuously are helping other users on the Local Guides Connect.
