  1. RealEstate lands with borders
  2. Agricultural lands like Coconut Farms, Paddy Fields etc with borders how can we Mark in the map
  3. Rivers, Ponds, lake etc.

Thanks @NareshDarji for replying.

Hi @jasdesigns2017

If you are confused about areas and items on the maps not accepting edits and photos, please enjoy this overview Shapes and Places - Guidance on where to add edits and photos including both flat and photospheres by PaulPavlinovich.

You can suggest polygons added to Google Maps via Maps support forum. But you need solid official documentation to be successful.

Cheers

Hi @jasdesigns2017

If you need to change your original post, it is not necessary to post it again. You can simply make an edit. Press the three blue dots on your post then click on “edit” . Regarding you questions, as you have already seen, we cannot add borders or boundaries or polygons in Maps. We can only define where the business is (the center of the business).

  • Real estate lands are not elegible to be in Google maps (they are a product, not a business)

  • If the Farm is a business, the farm itself can be in maps, with a pin (not with an area), but not a field itself

  • Lakes and rivers are elements of the Map Layer. Local Guides cannot edit that layer. Only Google Maps team can.

What we can do, for helping the team, is to report an error on Google Maps, through the “send a feedback” that you will find scrolling down your menu on Google Maps, or contacting the Google Maps Help Community

For more details you can read: Report an error on the map

  • For Agricultural lands the answer is exactly the same of Paddy fields: If the Farm is a business, the farm itself can be in maps, with a pin (not with an area), but not a land itself
