I’ve always been a huge fan boy of Google Maps and how fantastically useful it’s been since I got my first Motorola Droid over 10 years ago now. What’s more, is that the local guides program has been a fantastic way to help me assist in building up this beautiful free service. I really loved the ability to be able to correct mistakes I see across Google Maps that may not have been caught in the grand scheme of things. I also love the fact that I can leave reviews for places I love and say how above and beyond they went and their service and as such actually be able to have my wonderful experience appreciated by many others that happened to be searching around for the best place to go for whatever respective restaurant, repair shop, or anything else. Lastly as terrible as this to say; although the competition is fun I really do appreciate the reward system for my contributions through the local guide program it’s really been almost game like system that you get to play and actually help your fellow citizens and users out.
