Whilst browsing other Local Guides work I have discovered several instances of a sphere linking to multiple unconnected spheres, sometimes in completely different countries. (Desktop PC, Windows 11 Pro, Opera browser)
I just released your post from spam quarantine. Our filter is working to protect the community and you from unwanted content, but sometimes it’s too sensitive.
Moderators are patrolling the quarantine to release the good post so, if your post has been rejected, don’t post it again. Instead, reach out to a moderator for help.
I think there’s an oddity where images added to places awaiting approval or are removed end up at Null Island, an imaginary place, at zero degrees latitude and zero degrees longitude ( 0°N 0°E).
I have a few images I’ve submitted when trying to get new places added (that are then incorrectly denied by bots that apparently know more than the person stood atbthe location in question) that seem to have ended up there over the years.
With 360s I presume the system sees those close to each other and incorrectly connects them or fails to break connections previously made with spheres still in the right place.
Publicly visible on the POI and/or if you touch the green dot
Distributed on a large area
My feeling is that all the photos were uploaded with wrong GPS coordinates.
In fact, before the changes is the Street View program, 360 photos were uploaded according to the coordinates, and this would explain the distribution on a large area
