Google Maps has input from locals, so includes so many interesting places and things to do that most tourist maps don’t include. I love to explore places that are not well-trodden and look for special “gems” that can be included on Google Maps, whether at home or abroad. I particularly like to find places that are free or cheap for the sake of low budget travelers.
