Google Maps – genial invention!
But it’s genial not because of the maps themselves. It’s genial because of possibility!
Possibility for user to become photographer and writer, to become explorer and pioneer. Possibility to rate and edit everything that already present on Google Maps. Possibility to add everything that is not on Google Maps yet. This changed our life by making it easier and world around us more open.
With Google everybody can add everything they want to the map – photos, videos, description for new places and reviews for existing one.
Personally, I like to add reviews for the places I visit and answer the user’s questions. And its quite easy to explain 
In each country, in each city we are surrounded by enormous quantity of places we want, we can and we must see. Trying to search all such places by ourselves could take days and even weeks.
Before Google Maps people spent a lot of energy and a lot of time searching for necessary information across the net, reading books, asking questions on different forums with no warranties to receive answers on them.
Now, everything is simple. Open Google Maps and ask: “Best pizza in Kharkiv”. Just after that you will receive a list of all pizza café and restaurants with their rating based on the real reviews about these places. Reviews are one the most valuable feature of Google Maps. They simplifies our life and, personally, for me simplifies the planning of our family trips. Try it once and you will use it all the time
That’s why I’m trying rate and review each place I visit. Every time, sharing my impressions and feelings about such places I hope and believe that this review will help somebody to make a correct choice. And finally, it will help to obtain maximum benefits and pleasure from visiting them. This year I’ve even created my 1st list “Eat Good” of places with a really good food in Wroclaw (Poland).
