Google Maps showing an error.

Hi,

This is Harlincoln Singh, a regular Google Maps user and local guide from India. Yesterday I had noticed a error on Google maps that I’m not connected to the internet (offline) but at that time I had a great internet connection.

Yesterday night, I’m trying to post some pictures in Google maps of Statue of Unity directly from my phone’s gallery but I’m unable to post it.

I’m sharing a screenshot with you all, please take a look at it…↓

Hi @user_not_found ,

Thanks for reaching out!

To be sure, when the issue first occurred, would you have tried to check for first troubleshooting steps?

Feel free to share with us if there would be any development. : ]

P.s: If you could share with us the model of the device, OS version as well as the Google Maps application latest update, would come in really handy.

Just wanted to let you know that the post would be relocated to the How-tos, as it would be more suitable.

Hello @sonnyNg ,

Thanks for showing your effort in my post.

Firstly, i want to tell you that I’m a beta tester for google maps and yes, i had tried the troubleshooting steps but troubleshooting had failed.

Sure, I’m using “Oppo F1s” and currently it is running “ColorOS” and it’s version is v3. 0.0i and the android version is 5.1

And in my device, google maps is currently running the version 10.17.2 (#1017201243)

Again thanks for relocating my post to correct place… :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @user_not_found ,

Thank you for the further details!

We will check from our end, as to be sure, this should be the Google Maps link to the Statue of Unity, correct? : ]

I wonder, if the same issue may occur with other locations. If that would be convenient, would you mind checking that as well?

Hi @sonnyNg ,

Thanks again for your your effort in my post.

Yeah, About an hour ago I had also checked other places/locations but all are showing this error.

Hi @user_not_found ,

Thanks for the information.

At the moment after the research, as I would personally do is to reset the mobile device.

In case the issue may occur constantly afterwards, please make sure to send feedback to Google Maps.

@user_not_found Hello Bro

I am working Mobile Technician

I want to help you fix this problem…

Maybe you turn off Mobile data connection for Google map from setting

Second way reset your Network settings

Third try in Wifi network.

And post here results

Best Regard
