Hey everyone!
I’ve been contributing photos for about 5 years now, and back in 2021 I uploaded a shot of Grand Central Terminal that became the top image in search results. It held that spot for nearly 3–4 years and racked up 218M views, keeping me at the top of the @AdamGT leaderboards.
Since February 2024, the stats haven’t updated, and today I noticed a new image finally replaced mine as the top result (about time, haha). But weirdly, my photo no longer appears when I search under the “By you” tab, though it still shows up in my profile with the view count.
Has anyone else experienced this or know if something’s changed recently?

Hello @SvenJacobs, regarding:
Meanwhile, I found several photos not appearing under “By you”. Some are even getting a few views over time. But there even some, getting many views. The most extreme example is my “star photo”, which never showed up under the listing where I posted it, but I can still find it under “By you” of the city.
My explanation for this:
Google selects some of our photos and lists them without our knowledge to the pins of geographic features (city, county, state or even Nation). You can see that if you search for the city , click the title picture and click “By you”.
However, having said the above and looking at your example, it seems to be a different case: As of my experience, whenever we see “No user photo here” it was because the photos is now longer public. Once in while this happens too. Sometimes an appeal by filling in this form is successful.
Same here over 200 photos , almost all from 2021. It’s as if they got lost and Google can’t find them. I brought this up last year, it was reported to the the Google team, but no answers…
