I have found some duplicate names of places but the letter arrangements in the names are little different (like M8HQ+MV Kathmandu as Arghakhachi Store and M8HQ+MV Kathmandu as Arghakjhanchi Store which is indication of the same place. Reporting this both as same place, google responded “NOT APPLIED”. I think google should have an eye on these kinds of errors.

Are you familiar with how we can merge POIs? In my experience it helps to
- Figure out which one should remain (note the number of reviews)
- Rename the secondary to reflect the primary precisely
- Set the category of the secondary to the same as the primary
- Then you may have to wait for those edits to get approved and synchronized.
Then do the remove, dublicate on the secondary Poi.
If the primary does not show up on the list then abort and try again later.
