I’m Franklin, an inhabitant of the city of Bogotá. I was not born in Bogotá, but I live here more than 26 years ago, therefore I consider myself Bogotano.
Living so long in this city has allowed me to know many places. Through my work I have been able to meet many sectors of Bogotá, places that many city dwellers ignore that are part of this metropolis.
Google Maps has been my favorite navigation tool since its inception. I’ve used it to mark the places I know and try to inform others of what they can find on these sites.
Google Maps has allowed me to point out the sites of my interest so I can revisit them and take other people with me.
Something important that I should write is that Bogotá has a large natural area, the area called Sumapáz Locality.
In Sumapáz we can find a very nice moor with many frailejones, several freshwater lagoons, fish hatcheries and many other things of nature.
Places like that are the ones I love to visit and share so that more people can meet.
