I love road trips. I have been to the extreme north, south, east and west of India that too by my motorcycle Royal Enfield Classic 350. While traveling and riding 100s of Kilometers daily, I pass through numerous villages and smaller cities in every tour, and this is when you realize the importance of Google Maps and Google Reviews. In Metro cities, you have a choice to open apps like Zomato and get to know the best restaurants in the city, but in smaller cities and towns, your only savior is google maps for everything, be it food or stay, you can trust the google maps ratings.
I realized it for the first time when I was traveling through the cities and deserts of Rajasthan in India. Google Maps and Google Reviews helped me a lot to find a perfect place to stay and eat. When I came from the trip, I decided to start contributing as well, so people like me face no difficulties when traveling through lesser known places.
With this sole aim, I started contributing to google maps with all the photos and reviews and it feels really good when I see the views and responses to the same.
