Hi! I’m Tharindu Kanakaratne from the wonderful country of Sri Lanka. With my wife, I love to travel, experience new and beautiful places, different food, various cultures, and to collect memories of those places by capturing as much as possible.
I started my contribution to Google Maps about 2 years ago which made me addicted to it after I realized how my images had helped thousands of travelers from around the world.
Wherever I travel with my family and friends Google Maps always assist us in finding the easiest and fastest route as well as, giving more things to know about the places I want to visit. By uploading my images and sharing my knowledge through Google Maps I know, as other reviews help me I also help other readers.
Doesn’t matter whether it is a small tuckshop or a five-star hotel, I enjoy uploading my photos of them and giving my honest reviews. I’m overwhelmed when I see that my photos have been viewed more than 300,000 times from people all over the world which gives me humble happiness to be a contributor for google maps which guide almost every smartphone holder and every viewer in the world.
So, I proud about my self for being a guide who can assist the whole world by sharing my own experience with them, yes which made me a virtual guide for all of you.
