Google Maps Location Tags and Photos: Please "invade" my privacy

Wanted to gauge the general public on this topic. I personally love that Google maps tags locations on all of the various locations I visit (parks, restaurants, nightlife spots, etc. Then, Google Photos automatically presents me with suggestions to save to my photo cloud, like:

Creating Albums and naming them, [Ex: “The Great Day you had in (month, year) at (location)” or “Christmas in (city, state)”]

Collages of different hilarious photos of my dogs being dogs

Animations of the horizon moving by from a collection of sunset photos I snapped quickly

Groups of photos by location, by person, by category (animals, selfies, etc)

Memories from this day every year for a the past decade

Personally, I’m all for my phone tracking my location, recognizing familiar people and pets, and keeping it all in the cloud. I think it is writing the story of my life, and acting as the passionate “scrap-booker” that I never have time to be. Some people might prefer a more “off-the-grid” sense of phone privacy.

My opinion: there isn’t really anywhere that’s off the grid anymore. You might as well embrace it and find the ways it can make your life more efficient, enjoyable, memorable.
