i have the same thing today while other reviewers posted earlier. It is strange though that you can add a review but can’t post it.
is this a block linked to the place itself ? Or any other reason?

If you are referring to MGM Springfield, I can assure you that this POI is working properly. We have just tested this on our side and successfully added a review, rating and a photo using iPhone with iOS 12 and the latest Google Maps installed.
Apart from that I can see that your latest review is 20 minutes ago. This shows that your Local Guides account is working properly.

the issue with “ineligible place” is now increasing.
yesterday I could add reviews but now I cannot add any reviews any more, even more any photo on places I have been already.
for instance, there is a place “Pancras Square” that is close to where I live. I promised my self to add a review later, but I wanted to check out if I could. I added 5 stars and thought I could add a review later.
But 2mn later I received a pop up message saying the place is ineligible for reviews.
I may be paranoid but I share my thoughts with you:

it looks to me my account is blocked or limited now and I could not post reviews with the GM app. Is there an issue with my account?

In his previous message , George referred to MGM Springfield. Actually i don’t know why he did referred to this place. But my understanding was “I” tried to post a review on this place, which I did not. Indeed, i am traveling in Scotland, Europe and I have never intended to post a review on the MGM Springfield place.
Could it be that someone hack my guide account? Or I am paranoid ![]()
