I wasn’t sure whether it’s worth sharing this screenshot. Recently, to my biggest surprise, I got an email that stated I was one of the most active Local Guides in the city. I didn’t aim to do that. So, it turned out to be the most unexpected award of the year!
What role did Maps play in this year for me?
First, it helped me to feel myself being important by sharing the information I got or knew. I truly did my best to add all the possible knowledge by answering all the questions, adding photos and checking the information.
Next, I didn’t feel locked inside during quarantine time. Checking the favorite places online, on Maps, gave me the feeling of a virtual walks.
I can proudly say that Maps is a part of me, it is something bigger than a hobby
Well done on your achievement of being in the Top 1% of Local Guides in your city @Yana_Patricia . As well as the recognition for your contributions, Google emails like this really motivate us. Congratulations!
Very well done; congratulations! I am happy that you chose to share your achievement with us on “Connect.” Your use of the quarantine time was like the fairy tale, Rumpelstiltskin, imp who spun gold out of straw. A good lesson for us all.
I just wanted to say that I’ve noticed that your post has a Ukrainian language label. Please note that I’m going to remove the label because you didn’t use the Ukrainian language.
You are more than welcome to write in Ukrainian, or any other language, as you know, all languages are welcome on Connect.
