I’m Leah or you can call me, Lei. I was born and raised in one of the most visited tropical countries in Asia - The Philippines.
In all honesty, I can barely remember when I started sharing reviews or uploading photos on Google Maps. It started with answering questions about accessibility and found out that it was fun and informative. So then I decided to upload photos I took from places that I’ve visited and leave detailed and relevant reviews about places or restaurants or cafes’.
I love sharing photos and my experiences so I decided to share it on Google Maps knowing that it’d be a great help too! I love leaving reviews for others with some photos for them to see, answering questions about accessibilities, prices, food and stuff. I really enjoy it!
And now I’m digging photos from places that I visited previously and will be uploading it on Google Maps to share it with everyone who might want to see some or planning to visit the places that I’ve gone to. I should’ve known long time ago about Google - Local Guides, I could’ve shared more photos, leave reviews and share my experiences.
The best thing about being a Local Guide is that I get to help and answer queries about certain places and also! Learning new places that I haven’t heard and been to and makes me want to visit those places myself! It’s totally a Win-Win situation - I share to help. I learn and discover.
I am a Flight Attendant aspirant - I love interacting with others who share same interest and passion as mine. If given the chance, it’d be the best BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER as June 1st is my Birthday and it’d be a great opportunity for me to meet and greet my fellow-Local Guides from around the globe and the people behind the success of Google.
