As the city of Ghent we regularly receive complaints when there is something not correct in a routeplanner.
We have good connections with several map providers such as Open Street Map, Waze, TomTom and Here to correct small errors. But getting this information correctly into Google Maps is not so easy for us.
Is there a way to get access to an editor as a public authority?
Thank you and have a nice day.

Regarding your question, the answer is YES! The County or other public authorities can submit the change through the Maps Content Partners . Changes submitted in this way are applied in a very short time.
EDIT: I am adding in this conversation a Connect Moderator that is in the area: @JanVanHaver

Ik probeer vanavond een mail te sturen, want er zijn zeker mogelijkheden, zoals @ErmesT al aangaf. In het verleden heb ik bv. al de gemeente Ham kunnen ondersteunen bij gelijkaardige issues.
