I was on a trip in Iran for 19 days in the March,2022 but there is no reflection in my Google Map history and Google did’t ask me to review a place, no facts check and nothing has been asked. Can any one tell me the reason ?

Sorry about that because I often expect to answer and check facts when I go to new places.
Perhaps you didn’t have your settings correct to that effect. Web and app activities has to be set to on etc. I should also add make sure the auto delete is set to off as well.

Hello @Asmat_kakar I think you don’t use Google maps during your journey because after you start using Google maps automatically sending you notification and fact checked and questions. You have to review a place by yourself there’s no restriction to review a place or wait for the Google’s notification.

I was using Google Maps with VPN because some apps were not working in Iran like YouTube, Facebook ,Google Maps ,may be this was the reason
Every thing was ok but I don’t know why it happend
Google maps is available in Iran @Asmat_kakar please wait or tag a connect moderator to ask your doubt , i will suggest you to review a place of Iran on Google maps then see that questions will come up automatically .
A small tip : I would like to suggest you to add @ this symbol before the name of a person you want to mention so that they may notified that you mentioned them.

If you were not using Google Map as an app in Iran then you can hardly expect the prompt for answering questions.
For future purposes, please make sure your app is up to date. Check your web and app settings(on) like I mentioned earlier on and you should get the prompt then whenever you visit and review a place. Make sure to have the suit delete set to off!

Indeed Google Maps is available but also has some limitations in Iran.
Location history and check-in are totally inaccessible here and because of this you can’t see Google Maps suggestions.
Facts Check also has some troubles from some ISPs and even by a turned on GPS, maybe it needs to change IP.
There are several of other limitations, too but I just mentioned to those you experienced.
If me and @SamanS were aware of your trip to Iran, we were planning to meet you.

I hope you enjoyed and had a good time during your visit to Iran.
As my friend @Amiran told you, Google Maps is available here and is an awesome app during trips but also has limitations.
Also, we would be happy to see you here on your trip.
I hope Google also checks this and sees how such unusual limitations, make travel and commuting hard for people.
These limitations are on Location history, checking the facts, writing reviews, and adding photos directly in places from the app.
